Rising Tide Capital Training Session
This November, we’re kicking off the Rising Tide Capital program with a virtual/hybrid training session on start-up law hosted by Lowenstein Sandler!
SE-SL's Rising Tide program is a project run by attorneys at Lowenstein Sandler and the nonprofit Rising Tide Capital where law students are invited to assist with pro bono client assignments. The program aims to provide legal services to under-resourced entrepreneurs and small business owners who are in the start-up phase or contemplating expansion of their operations.
The hybrid training session will take place Tuesday, November 12th from 6-7:30pm, with a virtual Zoom option (link to follow after filling out the registration form) and an in-person option which will take place in VH 206 where food will be provided! The training will be followed by an opportunity for students to engage in Q&A with Lowenstein attorneys on various subjects, e.g., corporate structure, contract drafting, employment, and IP.
This is one of the very few transactional, semi-"clinical" experiences available to 1Ls at NYU. All JDs and LLMs are encouraged to participate. Please register here and express your interest in participating in the Rising Tide Capital program!
